Description
My half of an art trade with the fabulously talented ~angelac that has been MONTHS in waiting! I think we decided to do it... in January??
So, originally I was gonna draw her man Fitch there, the guy feeding the dog. Somehow he got smaller and the background got bigger, and then his two adopted kids got in there. I referenced the background from a photo I found on my hard drive- it's either part of old Quebec City, or part of Krakow, Poland. All I can tell you is I found it in my 'Travel' folder, labelled with a number. *facepalm*
I really love Angela's art, and the world her characters inhabit. She's got a style that's warm and honest and whimsical and totally unique. I have some pretty severe prejudices against digital work, and she's one of very few digital artists I love. Her original style and consistently delightful execution transcend media. You should go check out her gallery because I can guarantee it will make you smile.
Materials: Micron 005 pen, Faber Castell PITT artist pens, Letraset Promarkers, ShinHan Art Touch markers, Prismacolour Premier markers, and a couple ancient Pantone TRIA markers (seriously, I bought these 2 colours in 2001! that's quality!)

Ooh, such detail! And that wood is beautifully coloured. Love the colour and composition of it, too!
